Mel is doing things she never imagined were possible!


The other day she lifted a personal best of a 100kg deadlift - yes 100kgs!

Mel started in the FXT program at Cityfit just over a year ago and in that time she has lost nearly 20kgs and gained fantastic fitness and strength. (To put it in perspective when Mel started in FXT she could deadlift 25kg).

“I just didn’t think I could do anything like this, “said Mel. “I knew I had to do something different to lose weight, because my yoyo dieting and exercise routine that worked when I was younger , wasn’t working anymore.”

“Joining the FXT program is the best decision I have ever made.  I feel so much better, I’m happier, I don’t get overwhelmed by ‘stuff’ anymore - I have confidence!”

“It probably sounds cliched but the people in the program make all the difference. I have made friends that extend beyond the gym and we support each other all the way.”

“My family has also been really supportive; my little girl has noticed that there’s ‘less of me to hug’.”

“I do 2-3 FXT sessions a week and 3 RPM classes - this realistic routine has worked well for me and the weight has progressively come off.”
